Global Airsoft Skirmish Site
GASS is a purpose built Airsoft site located near Thame on the Buckinghamshire/Oxfordshire border. The site has been operating since September 2006 running very tactical based scenario style games. We take in 40 people per Skirmish day, and we run one Saturday and one Sunday Skirmish day a month. We request that because of our capacity limit and for catering purposes that people wanting to play at GASS book before hand. You can book via our booking page. Web Updates

Well here’s a heads up about web updates.
The GASS Regulars page is to be finalised by the end of May. It will be a rogues gallery for guys and girls who have become part of the furniture at GASS.
The Merchandise Store will also be finalised by the end of May, it’s just a case of getting the design work sorted.
And there will be no web updates for three weeks, as this webmaster is going to be on leave for three weeks until early May. Any web updates or queries please hold them until I get back.

Rental No Show’s force Policy Changes!

GASS provides rentals as part of it’s service, and as most site managers will probably tell you. Dealing with rental weapons can be a royal pain in the backside at times.
Recently we have had trouble with the hiring of rental weapons. GASS outsources our rental services to a third party and therefore it cost’s us a fee per rifle. When someone books a rental and doesn’t show on the day GASS is required to pay the outsourcing fee for the weapon regardless. Recently we have had a number of rental bookings not showing up, so we are now forced to adjust our rental policy.
From now on if you request a rental weapon in advance on the booking form, then decide you can’t make the skirmish day. You must inform us up to two days prior to the skirmish as rentals are collected the day before GASS. If you fail to do this, then we will have to charge you the £10 hiring fee regardless.
Before now it has not been a problem if one or two don’t show. However in the last few months it has cost GASS well in excess of £200 because of no shows.
We are a friendly bunch at GASS and this new policy decision is not part of our ethos. But unfortunately are hand is forced to protect the site’s and other customer’s interests. We really need people to be more mindful of the effects of not showing up when you’ve booked a rental. GASS doe’s not want to be taking the PayPal deposit route either so help us to help you.

MISFITS Charity Day at Finmere May 11th

Basically, it's an extra skirmish where all the profits go to Help For Heroes (www.helpforheroes.org.uk), the charity that helps to look after our wounded Servicemen and Servicewomen.
ALL the profits will go to Help For Heroes. Tippy has even managed to convince NPG (National Paintball Games) to give up the green fees!
Also, I am contacting all the major airsoft retailers and suppliers in the hope that I can convince them all to donate something that we can raffle. All contributors will be publicly named and thanked (unless you don't want to be) and I will inform everyone of the final total and provide copies of the letter of acknowledgement from Help For Heroes. The response so far have been very favourable.
